The movie "Trueman show" is a story of man who even before his birth, is adopted by TV network. This corporation makes his live show in order to earn millions of dollors in advertisement.
Trueman belives to be living a normal life like every one else. he is an ordinary insurance salesmanwith a beautiful wife and many good friends.He is also unwanting star of a television program called "The Trueman show".Every thing around him is false and he realize that his life , his friend everything around him is fictional.
His father's death at sea leaves trueman with a moral fear of water. His life is controlled by a television producer called Christof. At the end, the movie make its statement that "I created you" says Christof,you are the star.you don't need to be afraid.In th end Trueman ecounter limit of his worldand faced with a choice of either moving ahead into the great unknown of remaining in his contive world;one which his creator assures him is better than real one.
i leart from this movie that maybe ourlives are also like Trueman's. we may not as free as we think we are.It is reflaction of how lives are conrtrolled by media.The movie ,however doesn't say how one can escape from uncomfortable situation.

It's interesting that this movie came out before the dawn of reality TV shows. Since it came out there have been shows like big brother that have people live their lives on TV. Watching Truman makes you realize how ridiculous they are.
